INGREDIENTS
Chickpeas 1 cup
Tahini Paste 1 cup ( Sesame Paste )
Cloves 3 nos
Lemon Juice 2 tbspn
Cumin Powder 1/2 tbspn
Baking Soda 1//4 tbspn
Olive Oil as required
Salt as required
For Tahini Paste:
- Take a pan, add a cup of sesame seed.
- Saute in Medium flame. Just it needs to get heat. Later turn it off.
- Take a Mixer jar, add the heated sesame seeds and blend it well as a smooth paste.
- Remember do not add water for the mixture, instead of add the extra virgin olive oil.
For Hummus.
- Soak the Chickpea about to 8 hours.
- First take the pressure cooker add the soaked chickpea.
- Followed by add some water and baking powder cook the chickpeas. leave for 4 whistles
- Drain the whole water, add it into the mixer jar.
- Add the garlic cloves 3, cumin powder, lemon juice, tahini paste, salt and olive oil.
- Blent it into the smooth paste.
- Remind it do not add water to blend the humus.
- Serve with falafel and pita bread.
